FILIPPO MAGNINI
4-time Olympian – 4-time World Champion and 17-time European Champion – Italian Champion – Graduated in Sports Science
Filippo Magnini, one of the most illustrious swimmers in the history of Italian swimming, began his career as a medley and breaststroke swimmer with Pesaro Nuoto, then specializing in freestyle. The change brought him success in 2002, climbing onto the podium at the Italian Summer Championships. After moving to Turin for his studies, he won his first Italian titles and set competitive times at a European level.
In 2003, called up to the national team for the World Championships in Barcelona, he stood out in the relay, contributing to the 6th place in the 4x100 m and improving the Italian record in the 100 m. In 2004, at the European Championships in Madrid, he won three golds (100 m, 4x100 m and 4x200 m) and a bronze in the 200 m, demonstrating his value at a continental level. Despite high expectations, at the Athens Olympics, despite reaching the final in the 100 m, he ranked 5th, while in the 4x200 m relay he won bronze.
2005 marked a historic turning point: at the World Championships in Montreal he won gold in the 100 m freestyle, the first Italian to do so, with an exceptional time of 48″12, one of the best performances ever. He confirmed his success at the subsequent European Championships in Budapest in 2006, with three golds and a bronze, earning him the nickname “King Magno”. At the 2007 World Championships in Melbourne he defended

MIKE MARIC
World Freediving Champion – Doctor – Author of Books on Breathing Science – Professor at the University of Pavia – CONI Olympic Trainer
Born in Milan on September 23, 1973, of Istrian origins, I spent my childhood in Rovinj, where I discovered my love for the sea and freediving thanks to my father. After moving to Italy, I began swimming competitively, but it wasn't until 1997 that my life changed radically: I met freediving legend Umberto Pelizzari, joining his team as an assistant and accompanying him around the world.
In 2001, I began my competitive career as a member of the Croatian National Freediving Team, specializing in monofin diving. In 2004, I set the Jump Blue world record, diving 120 meters underwater, followed by the national record for dynamic freediving, diving 150 meters in the pool. Despite a painful loss in 2005, I returned to competition and won national titles again, strengthening my passion and connection with the sea.
I have dedicated part of my life to the study of wild dolphins and have appeared on television and radio programs on Rai, Mediaset, SKY, Discovery, and major Italian radio networks. Awarded the CONI Merit Award and the Gold Medal for Sporting Valor, I founded the school “Swim Like a Dolphin”, transmitting experience, technique and scientific knowledge to adults and children.
As a coach, I've been coaching high-level athletes since 2009, including Federica Pellegrini, Filippo Magnini, Igor Cassina, Sara Cardin, and many others, offering advice on freediving, breathing, nutrition, and athletic preparation. I also collaborate with Team Trek-Segafredo, the Italian Swimming Federation (FIN), and as an Ambassador for the Umberto Veronesi Foundation.
Thought and mission:
Freediving has taught me to understand myself and the water. My mission is to improve people's quality of life through breathing, applying the scientific and medical knowledge I acquired as an athlete and professor at the University of Pavia. I teach breathing to live better, manage stress, and approach every performance with balance and awareness.

Constanza Di Camillo
Olympian – Vice World and European Champion – Italian Absolute Champion – Graduated in communication sciences
I started swimming at the age of three, later becoming passionate about classical dance. I decided to combine my passion for the two different disciplines by starting to practice synchronized swimming at the age of nine. After finishing high school, I was noticed by Patrizia Giallombardo (the national team coach) who suggested that I move to Savona to play for Rari Nantes (one of the best teams in Italy). I was lucky enough to be trained for years by Anastasija Ermakova (Olympic champion), obtaining the first call-up to the national team in 2016, which led me to historic results such as: the title of vice world champion in the highlight exercise, the Olympics and numerous European medals.

ELISA BOZZO
Olympian – Vice World and European Champion – Italian Absolute Champion
I started at the age of nine in ProRecco with which I became the Italian champion of the A beginners, girls' category and I won two Comen cups with the team and doubles. With the Junior national team I became the European champion in the team and doubles and then made my debut at the age of eighteen in the absolute national team with which I played various World and European championships, winning important medals. After the 2009 World Championships in Rome I left the activity for a year and then returned to the national team in 2010; my goal was to reach the Olympics, which I missed three times. Finally in 2016 after years of hard work I managed to make my dream come true. Winning the Olympic pass and obtaining an extraordinary 5th place at the Rio Olympics was my greatest victory, I want to teach our girls that even when everything seems lost, you must never give up and continue to fight to make your dreams come true.

VALENTINA ROVETTA
Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastics Champion – National Athletic Trainer – Graduated in Sports Science
"Sport is my life." This is how Valentina Rovetta begins when asked what sport means to her. It might seem like a cliché, a slogan, one of those things all great athletes say. It's true. But this Bergamo sporting story has something special that makes it unique. Yes, because here you need rhythm, and rhythms must be followed. Rhythms made of heartbeats. Heartbeats. A sporting heart.
Let's start from the beginning. Seven-year-old Valentina Rovetta already loves sports and is fascinated by the cartoon "Hilary," which depicts rhythmic gymnastics. A friend, Laura, encourages her to try a class in this discipline.
She started at the age of 8 at the Orobica Ginnasta Bergamo company.
It's love at first sight and the rhythm starts beating fast right away.
Valentina is incredibly talented, and a pre-competition test is all it takes to understand it. She was destined for success. And that's where her story of sport and life begins.
At the age of 12 he joined the junior national team and took part in the European Championships in Thessaloniki in 1994 where he achieved a beautiful 4th place.
In October 1994 he moved to the federal technical centre in Castellanza.
In 1995, she participated in the European Championships in Prague. After the competition, she was forced to sit out for three months due to a stress fracture in her tibia. In September, she resumed full training and in 1996, she participated in the Atlanta Olympic Games.
In 98 she suffered another serious injury, a fracture to her left fibula, which forced her to reflect and consider retiring from important races.
In 2000 he decided to pursue a career as a coach and went to coach at the Brixia club in Brescia, at the same time participating in the Serie A of rhythmic gymnastics with the colors of the Rubattino club of Genoa. In 2004 he decided to return to Bergamo and together with Daniela Rossi opened the competitive sector at the Polisportiva Brembate di Sopra.
At the end of 2006 she received an offer from the Federation (with which up until then she had only collaborated periodically as a coach during summer camps) to become a permanent member of the technical staff of the federal centre in Desio.
She worked as a national team coach from 2006 to 2009, from 2011 to 2018 and in 2024.
Five Olympic Games for Valentina Rovetta. The first as an athlete in Atlanta, then the next four as a coach, in Beijing, London, Rio, and Paris.
"The Olympics are a magical experience with a unique atmosphere. These are emotions that stay with you forever."
